Chair of Applied Ethics
N.N.
Applied ethics examines moral aspects of specific practices and institutions. Its foundations are in normative ethics – the study of moral principles, or of a general answer to the question about what is morally right and wrong. In recent decades, various sub-disciplines of applied ethics have developed, such as bioethics, medical ethics, environmental, animal, business, political and legal ethics. It's not least due to a growing demand in the general public that philosophical preoccupation with questions in these areas has been growing.
